Our first big purchase!

I have looked and looked at hundreds of nurseries and finally made my mind up. I had so many DIFFERENT options I loved, but decided western/cowboy would probably fit our style the best. This is a picture I got off the internet. I have only bought the bedding set. (No, I am not painting the walls like the picture!) I think it is kind of goofy. Anyway.. it has western scenes on the red material. and all of the brown is microfiber pressed with paisleys and made to look like leather. It came in the other day and I really like it. We have decided to use Jared's crib from when he was a baby. We brought it home the other day and it is in really good condition. I am pretty sentimental and not to worried about having to have brand new everything.

What am I getting myself into?

Well, I guess I'll give it a go! After sitting here for a few hours feeling pretty stupid, I finally decided to call my cousin for assistance. Thanks Ashley! I wanted to find all of the cute stuff and I just couldn't find it! I have no idea if I will really keep up with this so please be patient with me.

Jared and I just recently took our high schoolers on a ski trip to Winterpark, CO. Jared had a blast, I had fun but quickly discovered how depressing it is to miss out on all the action because of "my condition!" But.. baby boy is worth every bit of it. I shopped, took pictures, and hung out. It was exciting to get to go shopping for the first time after finding out we are having a boy. I bought one little outfit, the cutest little overnight bag that looks like a horse, and a few metal containers for his nursery. I can already tell there will be no more shopping for home decor anymore!!
