Ouch-y-wa-wa!

Balen, in all of his glory, moments before...

Jumping off the chair, head first, into the hard wood floor! This really isn't a very good picture of the bruise. But, there is something evil about trying to make your hurt child sit still so you can "capture the memories!!"

This injury really scared me. After the past few days, I'm thinking of moving out all furniture, locking the doors, and lining the walls with padding. He has fallen INTO the bathtub and hit his head, slammed his fingers into a drawer, stood on the coffee table, used a chair to climb on top of a small (not so stable) table, learned how to use a spoon to push the lever and get water out of the refrigerator door, and fallen off this big chair twice. I promise I'm not asleep on the couch while all of this happens!! You look away, or walk in the other room for a second and there he goes! Today was injury free. Instead of sitting here, we went shopping! :)
