Pinwheel

Who knew a dollar could bring so much joy into a little boy's day!

This was a last minute item that got stuck in the cart in WalMart. The plan was to play with it while we were shopping, then put it back when we are ready to check out. It usually works well, but this time I thought "What the heck, it's probably $1!" I was right, and the pinwheel doesn't disappoint! The amazing thing is that it has lasted all day long without falling apart. He is so proud!

Fall is here!!!! B Man is loving this weather. He is getting so much better at playing outside for long periods without eating everything in sight. We still dig out the occasional rock, acorn, or cat food! He is 120% boy! Daddy was off work today. The boys got to get bundled up, put their boots on, and do chores this morning. It was a beautiful, foggy, still morning. I should have taken some pictures of the calves grazing outside my window. When I look outside I am often reminded of how truly blessed we really are. There is something so pure and refreshing about mornings in the country. It is so comforting to know that each and every day that I can dwell in his shadow, I am covered by his wings, that he is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I will trust!
