Last night I got to take a little trip to the ER. Apparently a couple of my stitches inside popped out a few days ago and the spot swelled up and popped yesterday evening. I didn't feel anything, in fact after that pressure was relieved I felt a million times better. Even close to normal!! It did make me really nervous though so my doctor met us at the ER last night and checked me. He said it is good that it burst and most of the infection is out but we are having to put a tiny piece of packing in twice a day just to draw out anything that might be left in there. It sounds awful and I cried and cried when he told me we were going to have to do this but it actually wasn't that bad this morning. I feel like a new woman. I am glad we figured out what a lot of the pain was from. Keep me in your prayers. I'm not sure what else could come up after all of this! :) I am starting to think C-section might be the way to go.
Oh, Annie...I'm praying for you!!! I LOVED my C-Section!!! I was terrified of a vaginal birth (now I know why) and was almost thankful when Carter's heart rate started dropping so that I had to have a c-section. At least now I know that I'll be having that next time (if there is a next time)!!! Continuing to pray...glad that most of the pain is gone!!! SOOO excited that you have such a perfect little boy to concentrate on instead of all the other stuff!!!
ReplyDeleteThey "packed" my tailbone cyst for quite sometime after each surgery. It was MEGA painful and I totally feel for you! Prayers are gcoming!!!
